Hojatoleslam Ahmad Sehatqol, director general of Cultural Affairs, Media and Modern Technologies of Islamic Development Organization pointed to the launching of the Social Transformation Plan in North Khorasan and noted: The Social Transformation Plan has been launched at the cultural and social bases of the non-official settlements and it was approved in the country’s Social Council too; so far, 186 cultural and social bases of non-official settlements have become active across the country’s provinces, public relations office of North Khorasan Islamic development department reported.
The secretary of the Central Council of Social Harms announced that a MoU between Interior Ministry and Islamic Development Organization has been signed with the aim of developing this plan; he also added: 55 new bases have been launched across the country’s provinces and seven bases have been in North Khorasan province.
He said that the aim of establishing these bases has been to look at the social harms from a new point of view, specifying regarding the issue of encountering with the social harms, clerics and the holiness of the religious atmosphere have the most share and it can be very effective in controlling the social harms.
He pointed to the growth of some indicators of the social harms in this province, and said: By employing elites and the influential groups of the society, it is possible to prevent the harms that have not been institutionalized yet.
Director general of Cultural Affairs, Media and Modern Technologies of IDO knew family and giving importance to the family issues as a very significant subject and mentioned: Some growth are seen in the problems and harms related to the family institution and it is necessary to remove them.
Hojatoleslam Ahmad Sehatqol stated that the sensitivity of religious-cultural bases like religious bodies and assemblies towards the social harms and opposing them is great, adding every religious body and mosque can be a base to oppose the social harms.
